Inspector confirms footpath order
GR Redford 15th March 2014

The Planning Inspector has confirmed the footpath order that was made on the 21st October 2011.

The confirmation was made subject to the modifications to the original order made by the Inspector's interim decision of the 20th August 2013.

The footpath (Whatton No. 19) leaves the Whatton No 1 footpath (Whatton to Aslockton), along the top of the flood bank to link with Aslockton footpath No. 13. The Aslockton footpath follows the top of the flood bank, until the railway bridge and then broadly next to the railway boundary to join the Aslockton to Whatton footpath close to the foot crossing over the railway(Moody's crossing).
Nottinghamshire County Council are currently consulting with the landowner as to the works required to open the paths.
PLEASE DO NOT USE THE FOOTPATH UNTIL THE GATES AND/OR STILES ARE IN PLACE
