Aslockton Planning Application Refused
Gregg Redford 14th February 2019

The Outline Planning Application on land east of New Lane, Aslockton has been refused by Rushcliffe Borough Council.

The application which was outline on land between the new development on Abbey Lane and New Lane envisaged up to an additional 75 houses.

In refusing the Application, Rushcliffe Borough Council felt the development would harmfully undermine the spatial strategy and would be inconsistant with the fundamental objectives of sustainable development, would not respect the character and buildform of Aslockton and as part of the site is identified to be at a medium to high risk of flooding, the sequencial test set out in the National Planning Polciy Framework had not be passed.

Whatton-in-the-Vale Parish Council had objected to this development.
